I UNLINKED my Playstation Network and account from my Activision account, leaving the Steam account as the ONLY linked account. In my online Activision account, I had linked my Playstation Network account, acount, and my Steam account. Since the COD points system is linked to your Gaming network, That is where the points would go. Your activision account is attached directly to your player profile in COD, which is why we are all successfully getting our XP tokens. When you redeem a mountain dew code for the first time, you are required to link it to your activision account.

So after launching the game via Steam, I unlocked some COD points through the tiers of the battle pass, the points were added to the steam install ONLY, they were not added install. Sure enough, launching the game through was showing 1100 COD points, while launching the game through steam was showing 0. I purchased the game on Steam even though I had been playing it on for the last few months. One of the drawbacks is COD points can't be transferred between the Steam.
